Brussels, 27 February 2024. ESCRIBANO Mechanical & Engineering, a leading Spanish company in innovation and technology for defense and security, yesterday inaugurated its new office in Brussels, located in the European district of the Belgian capital.

In this new office, ESCRIBANO will concentrate its dialogue activities with the institutions of the European Union, including the European Commission, the European Parliament, the European Defense Agency and NATO. In addition, the new headquarters will act as a liaison point with the Permanent Representation of Spain to the European Union and NATO and will allow for closer collaboration with other leading European companies and industrial associations.
The continued presence in Brussels will strengthen ESCRIBANO’s role in future European initiatives or those already underway, such as the European Defense Fund, in which it participates through various projects such as EU HYDEF or FAMOUS 2.

ESCRIBANO’s arrival in Brussels is a further step in its commitment to consolidate its presence in Europe and, at the same time, contribute to the positioning of the Spanish Defense Industry in Europe. In this sense, the office will be a meeting point to encourage debate and exchange of views on policies and initiatives of interest to the sector.

New national facilities

ESCRIBANO’s arrival in the Belgian capital coincides with its landing in Cordoba, where the facilities that the company purchased last November to support the Army Logistics Base will soon be operational, facilities that will house both office space and a large manufacturing warehouse. Moreover, Cordoba is not the only location in Andalusia where ESCRIBANO has a presence, as it already has an office in Cadiz to provide service to the Guardia Civil’s SIVE.
