Escribano Mechanical and Engineering S.L. has been awarded the Public Pre-Commercial Procurement on Rural Security, with a budget of 4,177,706.50 euros, co-financed by CDTI and FEDER, for the development of innovative R&D solutions in four action scenarios: agricultural machinery component theft and other goods of high economic or cultural value; crowd control; the detection of cannabis plantations and environmental crimes.
The implementation period is from January 2022 to March 2023 in the region of Madrid and the province of Albacete.


On 09/16/2024, Escribano Mechanical & Engineering, S.L.U. was granted 22,769,000 euros from the Fund for the Support of Productive Industrial Investment, promoted by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism and managed by the public company SEPIDES. The purpose of this financing is to acquire the machinery and equipment necessary to increase the capacity of the facilities and increase production.
In addition, the production facilities will be expanded with a new building in an area adjacent to the existing facilities, which will house a new production line for metal components for ammunition, allowing this new product to be included in the company’s product portfolio. The project will be carried out in the region of Madrid from October 2022 to June 2026.
SOOMNET is a project whose objective is the development of a network of electro-optical multimedia systems, interconnected by radio through a central mission system, allowing the command of actions resulting from the observation, surveillance and tracking of optronic systems.
Developed by a consortium led by the EM&E Group, in collaboration with the companies Wavenet and Inetum, within the framework of the Aeronautical Technology Plan, SOOMNET has a budget of €3,525,194.48 subsidized by the CDTI and supported by the Ministry of Science and Innovation. The project implementation period is from June 2023 to June 2025.


The R&D&I Center of the EM&E Group, through its subsidiary E4 Defense Systems, located in the Principality of Asturias, is subsidized by the grants awarded by SEKUENS through the Agency and the Science, Technology and Innovation Plan (PCTI) for the implementation of action plans for R&D&I centers through the RIS3-EMPRESA program.
