EM&E Group will invest 50 million euros in a new industrial plant in Castilla-La Mancha

EM&E Group, a leading Spanish company in defense and security innovation and technologies, continues to advance its growth strategy and will invest 50 million euros in Castilla-La Mancha to open a new industrial plant in Alovera (Guadalajara), which will become the company’s largest production facility to date.

Covering an area of 42,000 square meters, these new facilities will be dedicated to production, thereby expanding the company’s industrial capabilities while driving the development of the various strategic programs in which it is currently engaged.
Located in the Los Picones industrial park in Alovera, this new plant will begin operations this summer and will create 300 new jobs, thereby contributing to the development of the area’s economic and industrial ecosystem and to the creation of stable employment in the region.

In the words of Javier Escribano, president of EM&E Group: “The new Alovera plant will not only allow us to expand our production capacity, but it is also a demonstration of our firm commitment to strengthening the national industrial base, while contributing to the regional economic fabric and fostering local talent.”

Territorial Cohesion

The new facility in Alovera joins the rest of the EM&E Group’s sites located throughout Spain, in line with its commitment to geographic diversification and regional cohesion. In addition to its headquarters in Alcalá de Henares, the group operates other production plants in Madrid (Pinto and El Viso) and various factories in Córdoba, the Huesca town of Binéfar, and the Jaén municipalities of Linares and Bedmar. It also has an R&D center in Asturias (Avilés) and a software and AI development center in Barcelona, a technical office in Cádiz (El Puerto de Santa María), as well as facilities in Valencia focused on photonics development.
